Update: 10am 26/7/16

There has been a fire at an electricity sub-station adjoining the Broadway and as a consequence the venue will be closed for at least two days until a safety survey can be done.

Summer drama workshop for children will go ahead this week, rehoused to Abbey Leisure Centre (thanks to the team there and LBBD for being super-quick to help out in our hour of need).

The performance by Artivism Dance due to take place in the foyer tonight has been postponed. We hope to be able to arrange a new date for this shortly once the situation at the venue becomes clearer.

Other rehearsals due to take place at the venue this week have had to be cancelled.

Because of the potential damage to our electricity supply and electrical systems, shows scheduled for this weekend (Hallyu Stage part 3 and You Can't Stop the Beat) may also be under threat.

The total power outage also means our phone system is down and we can't access emails. If you need to contact the Broadway, please do do via Facebook or Twitter (links at the bottom of this and every page on this website).

We will try to keep everyone updated on the general situation via this website.

Tickets for shows can still be purchased online via this website which is hosted in a different location to the Broadway.

We are sorrry for the disruption but this situation has been caused by circumstances beyond our control.
