Famous Faces at theBROADWAY

Dagenham-born, Eurovision song contest winner, singer Sandie Shaw has recently released her greatest hits album - The Very Best of Sandie Shaw.

Bard of Barking, singer Billy Bragg was really impressed with theBROADWAY when he visited in December to perform at the launch day benefit concert.  Writing on our Wall of Fame (check it out next time you're in the foyer!), Billy left the message - 'This place is great' next to Phil Jupitus' comment  - 'Barking Rocks!'.

theBROADWAY is pleased to welcome Lord Rix, with his many years of experience in the world of theatre as a new patron.  Lord Rix is also the current Chancellor of the University of East London.

Congratulations to actress, model and singer Penny and her partner, rocker Rod Stewart, on the birth of their baby boy. We wish them all the best from theBROADWAY.
