What personal data do we collect? We log your Internet Protocol (IP) address in order to receive and send information from and to you over the internet (see 'Cookies' above). You will be asked for personal data such as your name, address and email address when you make a booking, sign up to the mailing list or make an enquiry. It would be impossible to complete any of these functions without giving us some information (eg we can't reply to your enquiry unless you give us some contact details to which we could send our reply), so we take it that by completing the form or transaction you have given us your express permission to collect the required information. In other word, if you don't want us to collect any of you personal information, simply don't give it to us, but of course the degree to which we can then communicate with you online will be reduced as a consequence.
Booking tickets, paying BYT memberships and other online transactions
To protect your personal information, all online transactions are made via a secure website which is compliant with the latest security standards. The systems we use to deliver online transactions necessitate the creation of temporary cookies (see below) which are deleted once your transaction is completed. This is in line with the latest EU Directive on cookies which came into force May 2012.
If at any time you would like to contact us with your views about our privacy practices, or with any enquiry relating to your personal information, you can do so by sending an e-mail to us at firstname.lastname@example.org or write to us at The Broadway, Broadway, Barking IG11 7LS.
